Mohieddine co-founded My Rights MENA following a long career in democracy, governance, and human rights programming across the MENA region.
Worked as a freelance consultant for political parties and civil society organizations since April 2019.
Worked with the International Republican Institute (IRI) from 2005 to 2019, serving in several positions including Deputy Director for the Morocco program and Resident Program Officer in Tunisia after 2011.
Closely witnessed the democratic transition process in Tunisia and served as a consultant to several constitutional drafting committees, including freedoms and local governance committees. He was cited in the final report of the 2014 Tunisian Constitution regarding Chapter 7 on local governments.
Led governance programs with the Tunisian government following the first post-constitution elections, working on youth policies, anti-corruption, prevention of violent extremism, and access to justice for vulnerable communities.
Previously worked as an engineer responsible for continuing education for elected officials and employees at the Casablanca Regional Council in Morocco between 1999 and 2005, and began his professional career in the pharmaceutical industry in 1991.
Holds a degree in Organic Chemistry from the Faculty of Sciences at Casablanca University and a degree in International Relations from the Faculty of Law at the same university.
